Project Description
The River Park Well Development Project will consist of developing and equipping the existing River Park Well as a new source of drinking water supply for Logan City. The well is located at approximately 280 North 970 East within River Park. The project is planned to include the following parts:

  • Part 1 – Develop and testing of the existing River Park Well.
  • Part 2 – Design and construction of a new pump station for the well.
  • Part 3 – Design and construction of a new pipeline from the well site to the City’s reservoirs east
                   of USU campus.
Project Status - Monday, April 25, 2011
Well investigation activities were completed in January, 2011. Well development and pump testing work were complete as of Wednesday, April 13, 2011, and Extended Period Hydraulic Modeling was completed on April 15, 2011. The Drinking Water Source Protection Plan and Pump Station Design activities are now ready to begin.
